Body (My Body), 2024
Muslin, embroidery, assort fabric, pompoms

My body. I am always thinking about my body. (My body is thinking of me). My connection to my own physical being is often compromised: from body dysmorphia leaving me unable to parse my own dimensions, to sexual trauma making me want to escape my own body, to being nonbinary putting me at odds with my own body. But it is still my body. It is still me. I am my body.
